Both WordPress and I have been out of memory recently. The fix that worked for me was to edit my php.ini file and change memory_limit to 64M. If anyone can suggest something for my own memory that would be great.

Well, a bit of cleaning, sorting and reorganizing. My Tax Return has been refiled from Fiction to Fantasy. The big news however is the progress of the main part of the Website. I’ve used sIFR to style the fonts used for headings. The next step is the development of databases using PHP and MySQL to keep track of media purchases. I’ve finally bitten the bullet and signed up with web hosting provider BlueHost.com. That was 4 days ago. Since then I automatically installed WordPress, imported from WordPress.com and made a lot of alterations to the CSS. Then, a day later WordPress 2.2 was released which supports widgets. I spent 2 days upgrading!! I think I was having network problems too. I think that I’m finally back to where I started from. Now that I’ve put all the image links for my knitting photographs I’ve discovered that for whatever reason some of them don’t have a date which makes sorting them out difficult. I’ll have to go through old CDs looking for dates. Bugger. Transferred my knitting blog from Blogger to WordPress. I’ll transfer the image links manually. I set up my Blogger blog before I stated using Picasa. Now that I’m using Picasa it’s a lot easier to link to images rather than upload manually resized image files. I came to WordPress because of a popular tag in del.icio.us. I love that I’ll be able to customise my site with CSS. |
